In the Month of Giving… Inner Wheel Club of Amman Philadelphia
Supports Epidermolysis Bullosa Patients
In the spirit of Ramadan—a month of generosity,
compassion, and solidarity—the Inner Wheel Philadelphia Club launched
a humanitarian initiative to support patients with Epidermolysis Bullosa
(EB) in Jordan, a group facing challenging health conditions that
require special care and continuous support.
The initiative was led by Mrs. Alia Alyan, member of Inner Wheel
Philadelphia and Vice Chairman of District 95 (Egypt & Jordan), in
collaboration with Club President Mrs. Hanan Aghabi and members of the
executive committee. Patients received essential medical supplies,
financial assistance, Eid clothing, and Ramadan care packages
distributed to several families.
Mrs. Alia Alyan also visited families of affected children, learning
about their needs and sharing moments of compassion and solidarity.
Visits included families in Al-Mafraq Governorate (Al-Khalidiya area),
Zaatari Refugee Camp, and the Jawa area near Khreibet Al-Souk in Amman.
This initiative reflects Inner Wheel’s humanitarian mission and
reinforces the values of compassion and solidarity that Ramadan
embodies—proving that sincere giving can bring hope and joy to
children and their families.
