Growing & Flourishing Through Service: From Fellowship to the Gift of
Sight.
Under the theme “Grow & Flourish,” the Inner Wheel Club of Petra, led by
President Mrs. Suha Khouri, launched the 2026–2027 Inner Wheel year
with a meaningful initiative that combined fellowship with humanitarian
service.
The Club’s opening event, a recreational sports day held on July 15,
2026, brought members together in a spirit of friendship and wellness.
Attended by Mrs. Mayada Toukan, Vice Chairman of District 95, and fellow
Club Presidents, the event successfully raised funds to support two
young men suffering from keratoconus.
On July 19, 2026, the Club fulfilled its commitment by sponsoring the
two sight-saving procedures. Dr. Maha Al Till Amr generously waived her
professional fees, while Al Taif Eye Center provided the specialized
medical equipment free of charge.
This inspiring project reflects the true spirit of Inner
Wheel—transforming fellowship into compassionate service and giving
hope through the precious gift of sight.
