Growing Towards a Sustainable Future.
On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, members of the Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria Capital, led by Club President Dr. Ghada El-Moslemany,
visited the Intellectual, Vocational and Social Development Foundation
for Girls with Special Needs, as part of their continued commitment to
their Sustainable Environmental Project.
During the visit, the Club donated a recycling unit and organized an
educational workshop for the girls, introducing them to the principles
of recycling and teaching them how to sort waste using the designated
bins. The initiative aims to promote environmental awareness, transform
waste into valuable resources, and inspire the girls to contribute to a
more sustainable future.
The members also visited the Foundation’s garden to follow up on the
cultivation of fruits and vegetables. The garden has been developed into
a productive space, providing a variety of fresh produce to support the
girls’ nutritional needs.
The transformation of the garden—from bare, muddy land into a
flourishing space producing fresh crops—beautifully reflects the
spirit of “Grow & Flourish.”
