Cooperation Protocol Supporting Cancer Patients.
Under the theme “Grow and Flourish,” the Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria Capital, , signed a cooperation protocol with the Alexandria
Association for Oncology Patient Care, formerly known as the Mohamed
Rashid Cancer Treatment Center.
The ceremony took place on September 13, 2026, at the Syrian Club in
Alexandria, following an invitation from Engineer Rania Sherif Bayoumi
and organized by Dr. May Elnahrawy, Director of The Marketing House.
The protocol was signed in the presence of Club President Dr. Ghada
ElMoslemany, Honorary Secretary Mrs. Noha ElMawardy, and Club Founder
Dr. Nevine Abdel-Rassoul, Treasurer of District 95.
The cooperation aims to support the provision of essential medical
supplies and establish institutional partnerships for psychological
support for cancer patients.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Mohaissen and members of the Association’s Board
presented the center’s history, developments in cancer treatment, and
patients’ needs, highlighting the important role of civil society in
supporting patients and providing free treatment to those in need.
The event concluded with a tribute to Mrs. Husna Rashid in recognition
of her family’s role in establishing the charitable center.
