Under the Theme: “Step Up & Lead by Example”**
In celebrating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence
Against Women on November 25th—and in support of the goals and
humanitarian mission of Inner Wheel International—
On Tuesday, November 11, 2025, Mrs. Ghada Abdullah, President of the
Inner Wheel Club of Mansoura, accompanied by former club presidents Mrs.
Shadia El-Ashry, Mrs. Nagwa Kandil, and Mrs. Basma Saleh (Treasurer),
visited the Women’s Shelter, Guidance, and Protection Center of the
Al-Mowasaat Charitable Society, West Mansoura Social Affairs Department.
The society, established approximately 22 years ago, provides shelter
and counseling to abused and homeless women. The center develops
intervention plans with the consent of each beneficiary and can
accommodate around 20 women of different ages. It also receives abused
children—girls and boys—up to the age of 12.
After coordinating with the center’s director, President Ghada
Abdullah and the club provided essential food and cleaning supplies that
were urgently needed. Meals were also distributed to the residents and
staff.
We returned filled with positive energy that will always inspire us to
continue giving back.
