Celebrating International Sign Language Day.
Under the Theme “Grow & Flourish” 🌸
Inner Wheel Club of Nasr City, headed by Ms. Gehan El-Gemei,
participated in the celebration organized by the Committee for the Deaf
and Hard of Hearing, headed by Ms. Magda Fahmy, on the occasion of
International Sign Language Day, held on Saturday, September 26, at City
Club El Obour.
The celebration was attended by Rotary District 2451 Governor, Dr.
Hisham Shawky, highlighting the importance of supporting deaf and
hard-of-hearing individuals and promoting their inclusion in society
through sports and community activities.
The event was held under the patronage of the Ministry of Social
Solidarity, Ministry of Education, and National Council for Persons with
Disabilities, as part of ongoing efforts to support and empower persons
with disabilities and enhance their participation in society.
