Cultural and Educational Excursion at the Grand Egyptian Museum
Beneficiaries 20 students with special needs.
On Sunday, 28 December 2024, t Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of New Cairo, led
by Miss Lina Shaker, organized a remarkable event under the 2024-2025
theme:
“Heartbeat of Humanity”
This event marked the club’s second cultural and educational excursion
of the year, engaging 20 students from the photography workshop
established by the club at the Friends of Bright Tomorrow Association.
The excursion took place at the Grand Egyptian Museum, a world-renowned
cultural and entertainment landmark. Spanning 117 acres, the museum is
the largest of its kind, dedicated to preserving the history of Ancient
Egyptian civilization. It features extraordinary archaeological exhibits
and a stunning glass window offering panoramic views of the iconic pyramids.
During the visit, each student captured a diverse array of photographs
showcasing the museum’s exhibits and unique features. These
photographs will be displayed in a photo exhibition planned for the end
of the academic year.
At the end of the trip, club members—including Mrs. Nihal (P.P. &
PNR), Mrs. Rania Al-Kashef, and Mrs. Manulea Al-Wakeel—presented
Christmas gifts to the students. Additionally, sandwiches and snacks
were distributed, ensuring a delightful conclusion to the day’s activities.
