“Art Against Illness” Exhibition at Cairo Opera House
Under the patronage of Inner Wheel Club of Garden City, an art
exhibition titled “Art Against Illness” was inaugurated at Al-Hanager
Hall, Cairo Opera House, by Ambassador Dr. Nabila Makram, Chairperson of
the Board of Trustees of the Fahim Foundation for Psychological Support.
The exhibition showcases more than 60 diverse artworks by distinguished
artists, including architect and artist Iman Afifi, writer and artist
Sally Wafai, as well as artists Hala Fawzy, Dolly Fansa, and Mervat
Al-Rifai
Supporting the Fahim Foundation, the exhibition highlights the
therapeutic and diagnostic role of art in psychological well-being.
Unlike other art forms, painting serves as a universal language that
communicates without words, requiring no translation for the audience to
grasp its meaning and emotional depth.
