IWC of Alexandria Promotes Breast Cancer Awareness.
Under the theme “ Grow and Flourish,” and on the occasion of Pink
October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Inner Wheel Club of
Alexandria, headed by Mrs. Eman Shoukry, organised a breast cancer
awareness seminar on 18 October 2026 at the Refaqa El-Khair Association
in Agami, Alexandria.
Prof. Dr. Walid Arafat, Professor of Oncology at Alexandria
University’s Faculty of Medicine, highlighted the importance of
prevention, early detection, and healthy nutrition.
The seminar was attended by Dr. Mervat El Azzouni, District Chairman of
District 95 – Egypt & Jordan, alongside club members.
This initiative reflects Inner Wheel’s commitment to women’s health,
community service, and promoting health awareness.
