Under the annual theme “Grow and Flourish,” the Inner Wheel Club of
Giza, headed by Mrs. Heba El-Adl, sponsored two successful cardiac
procedures at Abu El-Reesh Japanese Children’s Hospital on 13 October
2026.
The procedures, an ASD closure for a 7-year-old girl and a PDA closure
for a 10-month-old baby, cost a total of EGP 170,000 and were performed
by Dr. Amira Esmat and her specialized medical team.
Heartfelt thanks to all club members and donors for their generosity in

On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, colleague Heba El-Adl, President of the
Inner Wheel Club of Giza, visited Abu El-Reesh Japanese Children’s
Hospital to follow up on cardiac procedures in the hospital’s Cardiac
Catheterization Unit. She was accompanied by colleague Noha Moussa,
colleague Aqila Omar, the Club Treasurer, and colleague Nagwa El-Akkad,

The Inner Wheel Club of Giza sponsored an atrial septal defect (ASD)
closure procedure for Haneen Ayman Abdel Tawab, a 7-year-old girl from
Giza Governorate, as well as a patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) closure
procedure for Hayat Hussein Orabi, a 10-month-old girl from Cairo
Governorate. The total cost of the two procedures amounted to EGP
170,000.
Both procedures were performed by Dr. Amira Esmat, Head of the
Hospital’s Cardiothoracic Unit, with the assistance of a team of
specialized physicians. Thankfully, both procedures were successful.
Our sincere thanks and appreciation go to the Club members and all the
donors for their generous contributions, which helped save these
children’s lives and ease the financial burden on their families.
The impact of your generosity extends beyond treating children and
saving their lives. It also provides young doctors with valuable
opportunities to learn and gain practical experience, helping build
medical knowledge and expertise that will benefit generations of
patients to come.
