A Tree for Peace, A Seed of Hope 🕊️🌿
On the occasion of World Peace Day, District 95 – Egypt & Jordan
planted an olive tree dedicated to peace at the Intellectual Education
Centre in El-Seyouf on Sunday, 20 September 2026.
This meaningful initiative reflected the values of peace, love,
friendship, and compassion, with the olive tree standing as a timeless
symbol of hope and harmony.
The occasion was honoured by the presence of District Chairman Dr.
Mervat El-Azouni, IIW Board Member Mrs. Nahla Qubain, National
Representative Mrs. Kamla Tawfik, Deputy District Chairman Mrs. Mayada
Toukan, and District Treasurer Mrs. Nevine Abdel-Rasoul.
Through this symbolic planting, District 95 reaffirmed its commitment to
nurturing peace and spreading hope—one meaningful gesture at a time.
