Growing Through Art, Friendship & Giving
Under the theme “Together We Grow and Flourish”, the Inner Wheel Club
of Petra, under the leadership of President Mrs. Suha Khouri and with
the participation of the Executive Committee members, organized a
special art activity at Angelina’s Oven Café on Monday, August 10,
2026.
The Club was honored by the presence of Mrs. Mayada Toukan, Vice
Chairman of District 95 (Egypt & Jordan), who joined the members on this
special occasion.
In collaboration with Arteries Studio, the event featured a guided
painting session led by professional art instructor Mrs. Ala’a Abu
Mohsen and her team. Each participant had the opportunity to explore her
creativity and create her own unique artwork under their expert
guidance. The painting session was followed by a delightful selection of
freshly baked treats, enjoyed in a warm and cheerful atmosphere filled
with friendship, creativity, and fun.
In keeping with the Club’s commitment to humanitarian and community
service, the proceeds from this activity will be donated to the King
Hussein Cancer Center’s “Back to School” Program, which supports
children with cancer and enables them to continue their education while
undergoing treatment. The Club will present the donation on August 12,
2026.
The IWC of Petra extends its sincere appreciation to Mrs. Nuha Asfour
for her continuous support and valuable contributions to the Club.
Special thanks also go to Arteries Studio for their tremendous effort,
creativity, and dedication in making this event a wonderful success, and
to Angelina’s Oven Café for their warm hospitality and delicious
treats, which added a special touch to the occasion.
Finally, the Club extends its heartfelt thanks to everyone who
contributed to the success of this memorable day and to all those who
participated with their enthusiasm and support.
