Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria East Strengthens Community Water
Initiative.
On Saturday, April 11, 2026, the Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria East,
chaired by Mrs. Magda Salam,accompanied by distinguished Club members,
visited the Alexandria Drinking Water Company and signed a cooperation
protocol aimed at supporting community participation, improving access
to clean water, and raising water awareness.
The visit, attended by Eng. Hassan Rayan, Chairman and Managing
Director, included appreciation for the club’s donation of 100 water
connections valued at 500,000 EGP, for which the club received an
official letter of thanks.
On Thursday, April 16, 2026, the club, led by Mrs. Magda Salam and Vice
President Mrs. Sahar Jazarine, conducted a field visit to villages in
Borg El Arab (Old Borg area), including Saeed, Beheig, and El Hawareya,
to follow up on ongoing water connection projects and meet beneficiary
families.
