“A Drop of Water Equals Life” 💧 | Water Well Project Serving 27
Homes at a Cost of 76,000 EGP.
Under this year’s theme, “ Step Up and Lead by Example,” and
within the framework of fruitful cooperation between Rotary and Inner
Wheel, the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, led by Mrs. Ghada Barakat, in
collaboration with the Rotary Club of Satellite Cairo North Pulse, led
by Mrs. Rabab El Fiky, successfully implemented a vital humanitarian
project.
The initiative involved drilling a water well in Arab El-Hessar village
(Abu Nobaisir), located in El-Saf Center, Giza Governorate—one of the
most underprivileged areas lacking access to a main water source or
supply network. Residents, mostly dependent on daily labor and farming,
had long relied solely on manually dug wells as their only safe water
source.
On March 17, 2026, the project was officially inaugurated. Water
connections were extended to 27 homes, marking a significant step toward
improving living conditions and ensuring access to a safe and
sustainable water source.
