Rotary and Inner Wheel Join Forces in “Egypt Kitchen” Initiative to
Support Needy Families
When Rotary and Inner Wheel come together, the circle of giving expands,
and compassion reaches farther.
Under this year’s Inner Wheel International theme, “Step Up & Lead
by Example,” and Rotary’s motto, “United for Better,” the
Chairperson of District 95 Egypt & Jordan, Mrs. Hanaa Elsadat, and her
board launched a joint initiative within the “Egypt Kitchen”
program, in cooperation with District 2451 Governor Eng. Hossam Farhat
and his wife Mrs. Suzy Ibrahim, with the participation of Rotaract clubs
and Inner Wheel club presidents and members.
A total of 1,500 Ramadan meals were prepared and distributed to the most
needy areas on Friday, 6 March 2026. The “Egypt Kitchen” initiative
aims to provide Iftar meals during the holy month of Ramadan as a
youth-driven effort to serve the community and support deserving
families.
Inner Wheel clubs contributed 500 Iftar meals valued at 60,000 EGP, with
active participation from multiple clubs and supporting members.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day (8 March 2026), Mrs.
Hanaa Elsadat honored Mrs. Suzy Ibrahim for her outstanding role in
supporting Rotary activities and her support of her husband, District
2451 Governor Eng. Hossam Farhat.
The day reflected a true spirit of cooperation and partnership during
Ramadan, highlighted by the remarkable efforts of Rotaract youth from
various clubs, showcasing a shining example of dedication and community
service. 🌙✨
