On Tuesday, February 17, 2026 and in line with the theme “Step Up and
Lead by Example,” this initiative follows the recommendations of the
First Forum on Combating Violence Against Women, organized in
cooperation with the National Foundation for Family and Community
Development.
The Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Capital, in partnership with the
Inner Wheel Clubs of Alexandria and Garden City, organized a visit to
the National Foundation for Family and Community Development in
Alexandria, where raw materials were delivered to six women survivors of
violence to launch small-scale income-generating projects, including
sewing, clothing trade, fresh produce sales, and vegetable preparation
and packaging.
