Inner Wheel Club of Mediterranean Visit to Borg El Arab University
Hospital in Support of Children with Cancer.
Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean , headed by Mrs. Heba Abou
El-Nasr, with Honorary Secretary Mrs. Hoda Arafa, organized a
humanitarian visit to Borg El Arab University Hospital, which provides
free treatment for children with cancer.
The hospital serves children from newborns up to 18 years of age,
treating all types of cancer without waiting lists, as it is fully
equipped to accommodate all cases. It also includes recreational areas
designed to help ease children’s pain and support their psychological
well-being.
During the visit, club members toured the children’s wards to offer
moral support, and attended a detailed explanation on the preparation
and precise adjustment of treatment doses. They were also introduced to
the hospital’s history, its establishment, the latest medical
equipment available, and its current needs.
In support of this vital cause, the club donated 35,000 EGP to the
hospital to help purchase essential medications for the young patients.
