Inner Wheel Club of Garden City Hosts Inspiring Event with MG Dr. Samir
Farag
The Inner Wheel Club of Garden City, headed by Didi El-Sourani, held a
distinguished event on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the Automobile and
Touring Club in Al Tahrir. The guest speaker was the esteemed former
Major General Dr. Samir Farag. The event was attended by National
Representative Samia Aboulfotouh , District Chairman Hanaa El-Sadat,
several Inner Wheel Club presidents, and members of the Rotary Club.
Under the theme “Step Up and Lead by Example,” strategic expert MG Dr.
Samir Farag delivered an insightful speech about Egypt, the complex
challenges it faces, and the threats surrounding it. He also addressed
the ongoing events in Gaza, praising the Egyptian President’s firm
stance against the displacement and expulsion of Palestinians, and his
commitment to preserving the Palestinian cause. Dr. Farag further
highlighted the importance of the peace agreement in Sharm El-Sheikh and
the significance of the U.S. President’s presence in Egypt during this
critical time.
The event proved to be both engaging and enlightening, offering
attendees a wealth of knowledge and a deeper sense of awareness.

A significant number of former District Chairmen and Inner Wheel members
were also in attendance.
At the conclusion of the event, attendees and club presidents took
memorable group photos with MG Dr. Samir Farag, marking a successful and
impactful gathering.
