Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx – Cultural Gathering: “Once Upon a
Proverb”
On Sunday, September 28, 2025, and under the annual theme “Step Up and
Lead by Example”,
the Inner Wheel Club of Sphinx, led by President Mrs. Ghada Barakat,
organized a delightful cultural gathering featuring Ms. Nesma Medhat,
creator of the concept “Once Upon a Proverb”, which explores the
origins and stories behind popular Egyptian sayings and proverbs.
The event was held at the Yacht Club in Giza and was attended by a large
number of club members, along with cherished guests from the Inner Wheel
Clubs of Tanta and Nasr City.
We were also honored by the presence of the founder of the Inner Wheel
Club of El-Mahalla.
The audience greatly enjoyed the light-hearted and informative session,
which was filled with anecdotes and humor, all in a warm and friendly
atmosphere of connection and joy.
