  Nursing Scholarship – Empowering Women in Healthcare

On May 29, 2025, under the theme “Heartbeat of Humanity,” the Inner
Wheel Club of Amman/Petra, led by President Mrs. Lina Al-Husseini and
the administrative board, in collaboration with the Sanheya Karama
Charity Association, proudly announced the launch of its inaugural
nursing scholarship for students enrolled in Jordanian universities.

This annual and sustainable initiative is dedicated to supporting
orphaned or underprivileged young women who exhibit strong academic
performance and a sincere ambition to serve their communities through
the noble profession of nursing—one of the most vital pillars of the
healthcare system.

The scholarship aims to eliminate financial barriers that may hinder
high-achieving students from completing their education, offering them a
genuine opportunity to pursue their dreams and contribute meaningfully
to the healthcare field.

The Inner Wheel Club of Amman/Petra believes that investing in girls’
education is an investment in the future of society.  Empowering young
women in the nursing sector is a practical step toward building a more
just, inclusive, and resilient healthcare system.

Through this scholarship, the club offers hope, supports ambition, and
helps shape a brighter future for Jordanian women—and for Jordan as a
whole.
