District95 Egypt and Jordan
Children and Elderly care
Under the theme of “Heartbeat of Humanity,” and in conjunction with the
presidential initiative “A New Beginning for Human Development,” Inner
Wheel Club of Sharm El Sheikh, headed by Mrs. Nazik Fayek organized a
picnic trip to Al Karma 2 Compound, Sheikh Zayed, in the clubhouse, with
children aged from 5 to 7 from the Child Care Association,” Dar
Al-Fustat” and elderly people from “Dar Al-Habayeb for the Elderly” in
Maadi, under the auspices of the President of Rotary Katameya, Dr. Samia
Sabry (Sharm El-Sheikh member). That was with the participation of Vice
President of Rotary Cairo North, Nora Fayek (also a Member of Sharm El
Sheikh and Past Chairman of District 95). They were joined on this day
by the National Representative Mrs.Samia AboulFotouh, Vice President of
District 95, Egypt and Jordan, Mrs. Hanaa Al Sadat, Honorary Secretary,
Mrs. Amani Hanna, and the International Organizer, Mrs. Abeer Ezzat. The
members tried to teach and inspire them. They prepared home-cooked
lunches and distributed them themselves. They enjoyed eating to the
tunes of music. They also played games and watched different famous
shows which made them feel at home in the family atmosphere they missed.
Finally, the club provided gifts for both the children and adults. Huge
thanks to everyone who contributed to this humanitarian work that
touched the hearts of the needy people and gave hope, and added a smile
to everyone.
