Under the Theme “Heartbeat of Humanity
The Inner Wheel Mediterranean Club, led by Heba Abul Nasr, carried out
one of its sustainable projects by distributing blankets at the Canal
Martyrs Association for Community Development to protect against the
harsh winter cold. This initiative reflects the club’s commitment to
helping less fortunate communities and making a positive impact.

Health care project for underprivileged

Inner Wheel Club of the Mediterranean, headed by Mrs.Heba Abo El Nasr,
donated 13 dialysis chairs to Abu Qir General Hospital. These chairs aim
to provide comfort to patients during dialysis sessions, which last four
hours each and take place three times a week.
The hospital is equipped with 46 dialysis machines that serve a large
number of citizens in the Abu Qir area and neighbouring villages. The
club also placed a sign with its name inside the hospital.

IW Of Alexandria Mediterranean Club -Red Crescent for relief efforts in Gaza

IW Of Alexandria Mediterranean Club.

Led by Dr. Eman Shafshak and Honorary Secretary Shadia Aldrini, the Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club contributed 15,000 EGP to the Red Crescent for relief efforts in Gaza. This donation signifies the club’s second charitable endeavor this year, aligning with the initiative by District 95 Egypt and Jordan to support our Palestinian brethren.

Alexandria Mediterranean Club- literacy class donation

The Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean, led by Dr. Eman
Shafshak, along with honorary secretary Shadia El-Drini and treasurer
Soheir El-Fouly, visited a literacy class funded by the club with a
donation of 4,000 Egyptian pounds. The class, supervised by the General
Authority for Adult Education, employs the CLE system to teach 14 women
over three months starting from May 1, 2024. Classes are held for 12
hours a week, three days a week (Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday) for four
hours each day, including a break and a free healthy meal to help the
learners concentrate.

This project is part of the club’s educational, community service, and
environmental initiatives, aimed at improving the lives of these women.
The visit took place today, Sunday, May 26, 2024, at the association’s
headquarters.

Alexandria Mediterranean Club – Literacy Classes Donation

Alexandria Mediterranean Club.

The Inner Wheel Club of Alexandria Mediterranean, led by President Dr. Eman Shafshak, Honorary Secretary Shadia El-Dereini, and Treasurer Soheir El-Fouly, visited the literacy class established by the club to monitor and motivate the learners. In celebration of Eid al-Adha, the club distributed cash amounts to the learners for purchasing meat for the holiday. A total of 8,000 EGP was distributed, with each woman receiving 400 EGP. This event took place on Sunday, June 9, 2024, and was attended by club members Nelly Mounir, Salwa John, and Soheir El-Fouly.

Alexandria Mediterranean IWC – Easter meat for our Coptic brothers

Alexandria Mediterranean IWC
On April 21, 2024, Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by Dr. Eman
Shafshak and Honorary Secretary Shadia El-Dreny, generously contributed
104 charity cards totaling 31,500 EGP for purchasing Easter meat for our
Coptic brothers. These cards were distributed to less fortunate families
at the Virgin Mary Church in King Mariout, thanks to the efforts of past
president Nelly Mounir.”

Alexandria Mediterranean Club – Dr. Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation donation -sustainable projects

Alexandria Mediterranean Club.
On Sunday, April 7, 2024, Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by Dr.
Eman Shafshak and Honorary Secretary Shadia El-Derini, contributed EGP
40,000 to the Dr. Magdy Yacoub Heart Foundation, marking it as one of
the club’s sustainable projects.

Alexandria Mediterranean Club – “Baheyya” Foundation donation

On April 15, 2024, Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by Dr. Eman
Shafshak and honorary secretary Shadia El Derini, contributed 20,000
Egyptian Pounds to the “Baheyya” Foundation in support of establishing a
“PCR Room,” alongside other clubs from our Innerwheel District 95. May
our charitable efforts be blessed.

Alexandria Mediterranean Club – Association of Friends of the Holy Book for Orphan Care donation – sustainable initiatives

On Tuesday, April 16, 2024, Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by
President Dr. Eman Shafshak and Honorary Secretary Shadia Aldreeni,
along with the presence of Dr. Viola Ramsis, Vice President of D95
visited the Association of Friends of the Holy Book for Orphan Care. The
club generously donated 15,000 Egyptian pounds. Members inspected the
association’s activities, engaged with the children, providing gifts,
sweets, and holiday clothing.

Alexandria Mediterranean Club – distributed Eid clothes and shoes to children battling cancer at Ayadi 40&40

On Wednesday, March 20, 2024, Alexandria Mediterranean IW Club, led by
Dr. Eman Shafshak and Honorary Secretary Shadia El-Derini, distributed
Eid clothes and shoes to children battling cancer at Ayadi 40&40. This
gesture aimed to bring joy and happiness to the children as Eid Al-Fitr
approached, along with wishes for their complete recovery. Gratitude to
the generous donor who provided clothing and shoes for 60 children with
cancer at a cost of 500 EGP each, totaling 30,000 EGP. Special thanks to
club members Suhair Al-Fouly and Nelly Mounir for efficiently organizing
the day, and to club member Dr. Nahed Al-Wakil for joining us.
