Heliopolis Club

On Wednesday January 3rd 2024 the Heliopolis Innerwheel Club, led by Mrs. Salwa Selim, donated 180,000 EGP to Abu Al-Rish Children’s Hospital. The donation was used to purchase three arterial leads for open-heart surgeries, resulting in the successful completion of three surgeries. The club members express their gratitude to all who contributed to the hospital ultimately aiding in saving the lives of three patients. “May God help the servant as long as the servant is in the help of his brother.

Heliopolis Club

Mrs. Salwa Selim, President of Heliopolis Innerwheel Club, graciously visited Minya Club and presented a generous contribution of 2,000 pounds on behalf of the Heliopolis Club. This heartfelt gesture aims to support the Minya Club project and provide much-needed assistance to the Leprosy Colony in Minya.

 On Saturday, November 18,
Mrs. Salwa Selim, president of Heliopolis Inner Wheel club in the
presence of District chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Alfutouh & other members
held the annual charity bazaar at the Baron Hotel in Heliopolis: the
income of which was directed to the club’s project, in cooperation
with the kidney department at Abu Al-Rish Children’s Hospital.
They expressed their admiration for the organization and were impressed
by the diversity of the exhibits

Mrs. Salwa Selim, President of the Heliopolis Inner Wheel Club & members, donated to the residents of “Yasmine Home for Elderly Women”three medical wheelchairs, some medicines, kitchen tools, and other gifts.

This institution is affiliated under the supervision of Cairo Inner Wheel club.

Mrs. Mervat Al-Rashidi and members of the Cairo Club were grateful for the generous donation.

Members of Heliopolis Inner Wheel Club, headed by president Mrs. Salwa Selim, and with members the of other Innerwheel clubs, in the presence of District chairman Mrs. Mona Abu Alfutuh visited the “Bahia Foundation for Breast Cancer Treatment”, one of the club’s sustainable projects.

The Heliopolis Club contributed an amount of 15,000 pounds for the preparation of a special equipped room for lab purposes and

PCR.

On Sunday, May 28, Inner Wheel Club of Heliopolis headed by Mrs. Salwa Selim paid a visit to  Baheya Hospital Sheikh Zayed Branch to present donation to the  hospital

Inner wheel Club of  Heliopolis, headed by Mrs. Salwa Selim, presented a donation to the Yasmine El Samra Charitable Foundation for Epidermolysis Bulloses (EB) Children , in support of the Foundation to achieve its goals.

On the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Inner Wheel Club of Heliopolis, headed by Mrs. Salwa Selim, visited SOS village in Nasr City, On March 20,203 . The club members presented, 30 Ramadan cartons for children, those in charge of their service, and the village’s employees.

In continuation of the support provided by the Inner Wheel Club of Heliopolis to “Ahl Misr Hospital” for Burns (One of the sustainable club projects of the club)

‏IWC of  Heliopolis donated a cheque to the hospital to purchase a suction device for blood and fluids from the patients ( Aspirator)

IWC of Cairo West and IWC of Heliopolis in cooperation and partnership with some of the other Inner Wheel clubs of Egypt and in solidarity with the Syrian families affected by the earthquake. Both clubs donated a total amount of money to the Egyptian “Red Crescent Organization “to purchase shelter tents and pillows and bed Sheets

President of IWC of Cairo West , Dr. Faiza Farid, and Mrs.Salwa Selim President of IWC of Heliopolis and some of the Presidents of other Innerwheel clubs met with Dr. Rami El Nazer CEO of the Egyptian “Red Crescent”, who thankfully gave a detailed explanation of the tragedy of those affected by the earthquake in Syria.

He informed us of the necessary requirements, which must be sent within (48) hours to Syria. They are shelter tents, pillows and mattresses.

The most important of them at the present time are shelter tents. And it is possible to donate directly to the Egyptian “Red Crescent”.

The President of IWC of Cairo West and PDC Dr. Zeinab Al-Ghazali, also donated a large number of blankets to the earthquake victims in Syria.
