Visit of IWC of Zamalek to the Museum of Islamic art in Cairo

Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek headed by Mrs.Hoda Malash visited the Museum of Islamic art in Cairo after its renovation, in their first activity this year.
The members listened to a full explanation about the Museum since the beginning of the Islamic era and enjoyed watching the antiquities and ancient decorations with a mixture of murals, ceramics and ancient Iranian carpets. The museum is divided into several exhibitions such as Umayyad, Abbasid, Tulunid, Persia,Fatimids and Mamluk eras.
After that, the members visited Al-Azhar Mosque, the most famous mosque in Egypt and Islamic world, and listened to a full explanation of its construction in the Fatimid era since its inception from the tour guide accompanying the trip.
At the end of the trip, the members took some souvenir photos for this cultural day
