The Inner Wheel club of Amman Philadelphia Planted four olive trees in Bishop School Garden
The Inner Wheel club of Amman Philadelphia headed by Mrs. Duha Bushnaq Abdul-Hadi and a number of members of the administrative body and in cooperation with the Green Caravan Program (subsidiary from the Arab Society for the Protection of Nature), which aims to increase the green area and reduce deforestation, planted four olive trees in bishop’s school garden, which is a sustainable project where a garden was allocated in the name of the Philadelphia Club last year. The club’s delegation was received by Ms. Nancy Shaaban, the school’s activities coordinator.
The idea of planting these trees came in response to the invitation of the chairman of District 95, Mrs. Nora Fayek, where a climate conference was recently held in Sharm El-Sheikh COP 27 which called for the need to reduce carbon emissions, which suggests a defining moment in dealing with climate change
