IWC – vaccinate and sterilize stray dogs in the tourist area of the Giza Pyramids
Giza IWC
Under the slogan “Shine A Light,” the Giza Inner Wheel Club, led by Mrs. Mona Gimaie, is actively engaging in environmental preservation projects aligned with District 95 initiatives in Egypt and Jordan, overseen by Mrs. Mona Aboul Fotouh. Among these initiatives is the project to vaccinate and sterilize stray dogs in the tourist area of the Giza Pyramids. Twelve dogs have been vaccinated and sterilized at a cost of 1,000 EGP each, with the participation of several Inner Wheel clubs (Sphinx, New Cairo, North Cairo, West Cairo, Zamalek, Nile, Mansoura, Lotus, and Gezira), totaling 42,000 EGP. Additional dogs will be vaccinated and sterilized with the remaining funds. We extend our thanks to the participating clubs for their efforts in preserving the environment and promoting tourism.
