Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek Donates 2 Checks for Free Kidney Transplantation to Children at Abu Rish Children’s Hospital

On December 31, 2018, members of Inner Wheel Club of Zamalek headed by Mrs. Maali Gemaey visited Kasr El Aini Faculty of Medicine and donated with 2 checks to Ali Nasser Abdel-Aal kidney transplant department with the worth of LE 250,000 for free kidney transplantation to children at Abu Rish Children’s Hospital.

Among the attendees were the members of the board of directors of the club Mrs. Samia Abu Al Fotouh, who is responsible for the club activities in Abu Rish Children’s Hospital, Mrs. Eman Abdel-Latif, and Mrs. Tahani Zaher, and in the presence of the Dean of Faculty of Medicine Dr. Hala Salah.

Vice Dean for Graduate Studies Dr. Rasha Ammar, Director of Abu Rish Children’s Hospital, and Dr. Fatina Fadel, who is responsible for the kidney transplant department at Abu Rish Children’s Hospital.

It is one of the sustainable projects. Over the past 10 years, the club has been supporting the kidney transplant department at Abu Rish Hospital.

The club also donated to prepare intensive care and operations rooms.
