Alexandria Inner Wheel Club – Breast Cancer Awareness month

In The Month Of October known as “Pink October “.

The members of Alexandria Inner Wheel Club with president Mrs Shahira Maher organized an awareness lecture on early detection of breast cancer at the “Woman and Child Protection center” at the Walid Zein El Din Charitable Foundation in El Seyouf area.

Dr. Bahiga Hafez Professor of Health at the faculty of Medicine, gave a lecture entitled “Breaking the Silence” where she explained the importance of early diagnosis and treatment as a protection from breast cancer.

Dr. Bahiga also explained the various signs and symptoms that require immediate examination as well as the common causes of their occurrence.

She answered the questions and inquiries of the ladies.

At the end of the lecture, Alexandria club members distributed cards for free mammograms at the “Spot Oncology Center.”
